Well! What a summer’s it’s been! The Rig first launched at Machynlleth Comedy Festival in May 2013 and we haven’t stopped ever since! We did Sharky & George’s 10th Birthday party for 1000 kids in Holland Park, London, we tinkled with our ivories and teacups down at a country manor house in East Sussex with Chilled In A Field, went to the Music in the Gardens Festival at the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green, London and had over 2,500 children play The Rig at Cheltenham Race Course as part of Greenbelt Festival. Phew! Time for a well earned cuppa with one of our teacups. Oh. Hang on. We glued them all to the The Rig. *facepalm*
We are now in the process of organising an Autumn Schools tour and have been overwhelmed by the number of schools that want us to come and visit (thank you! We can’t wait to visit each and every one of you!). So if you want the riggy wig to come and pay a musical visit to your school, please get in touch and we’ll come and see you. But only if you make us a cup of tea. We appear to have mislaid all our teacups.
