To end our summer season, we’re heading to End of the Road for a bank holiday of music festival fun.
The Rig is an installation of curiosities and a musical playground for all the family. Built from up-cycled and recycled objects turned into instruments and sound experiments, kids can really get creative with music. Honk the golden tree, bang the metal teapots and chime the rainbow bells. Have you ever used a suitcase bass drum, a cutlery wind chime or magic oven tray headphones? Well, here you can.
This August Bank Holiday Sunday (25 Aug), Culture Mile presents Smithfield Street Party: A Beastly Adventure, a fantastical free street party where the animals top the bill, that marks the culmination of #PlayTheMile.
Have a go on The Rig and make the sounds of the beasts around us.
A musical playground for all the family to get involved and get creative!
